Dr Majd Protty is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist based in Cardiff, providing private cardiology consultations, investigations and treatment for patients with a wide range of heart conditions. He holds a substantive NHS consultant appointment at the University Hospital of Wales and has specialist expertise in the diagnosis and management of chest pain, angina, coronary artery disease, breathlessness, palpitations, dizziness, syncope, heart murmurs and cardiovascular risk factors.

About Dr Majd Protty

Dr Protty graduated from the University of Birmingham with honours, distinctions and multiple academic prizes. He subsequently completed specialist cardiology training in Wales and holds Fellowships of the Royal College of Physicians, European Society of Cardiology and American College of Cardiology. He also holds a Master’s degree with Distinction and a PhD from Cardiff University, and has published extensively in cardiovascular medicine. He is certified in interventional cardiology by the European Association for Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI).
